The Moixa team is going through a period of exciting success and growth and we are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to work alongside our Finance Team and the rest of our passionate teams based in London and Manchester.
The Finance team utilises sophisticated modeling techniques to support critical strategic decisions and is considered the analytical epicenter of the company. You will report to the Senior Manager, Finance and Business Operations who is based in California, USA and be responsible for managing the FP&A processes, liaising with the commercial teams and assisting business planning, budgets and quarterly and annual forecast submissions.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Finance professional to join the business at an exciting time. It will play a crucial role in supporting engineering cost reduction initiatives as well as ensuring the company maintains a healthy capital balance to fund the rapid growth needed to meaningfully impact decarbonization.
A successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who is comfortable working with little day-to-day oversight. You will be confident to share areas of improvement and recommendations with leadership, and drive decisions and follow-through. You will enjoy new technology, working on the latest financial systems and are most comfortable when you are innovating.
Responsibilities:
Interface with the executive team to develop department budget and forecasts
Prepare and deliver management reporting and comparison to budget and forecasts
Manage hiring plan and report progress
Identify cost-saving or revenue-generating opportunities
Establish trends and proactively identify risks impacting full-year results
Partner with teams to provide financial insight and optimize profitability and performance through financial analysis and recommending improvement to financial and operational procedures
Support ad hoc requests as they arise (ex: fundraising due diligence, analysis for board meetings, etc.
Your key skills:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize data and complex information, and present to different stakeholders ranging from engineering, supply chain, commercial and executive arenas
Team-orientated, self-starter with a proactive attitude
Integrity, dependability, a positive professional attitude
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Your ideal experience:
Advanced Excel modeling required; Google Sheets a plus
Previous experience in an FP&A role
Experience in systems and data management / development
Track record of success in delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Previous experience with NetSuite (Desirable)
Previous exposure to US GAAP (Desirable)
Exposure within a start/scale-up business is desirable
SaaS background is beneficial

Location: This role is hybrid (office and home working). You will work from the office in Liverpool Street, London for a few days a week.
